Great value all around and location was perfect. Definitely staying again
Perfect location. Air conditioning works great. Bed was comfortable. Bring toilet paper if you need more than 1 roll.
The house was not as clean as it could have been. It had an unpleasant musty smell throughout the trip. The last night we were there we observed roaches in the bedroom and bathroom. The wooden deck and porch needs some tlc. The futons in living room are worn and need replacing.
Great deal for the location! Perfect for a couple as it's a one bedroom house.
Great location, met all expectations. Look forward to our next opportunity to stay at this property.
The proximity to the beach cannot be beat! I love how the ocean can be seen from the back deck. We did enjoy our stay very much, however attention to detail with the cleaning & organization of the home is very lacking. We were pleasantly surprised that the TV had been updated since the listing photos were taken. We experienced a lot of bad weather during our visit so it was nice to have a TV with internet. The internet worked well also.
You get what you pay for.. the location is incredible and it’s an up and coming residential area. The place is really cute- especially from the outside. But the inside needs a ton of work. The floor is warped, the couch/futon situation will poke your butt from the springs and the bed is small and hard. The value is there (cheaper place) until you factor in the cleaning fee which is astronomical. Overall, not sure I would stay again but it worked in a pinch so for that I am thankful!
Really cool place!
Location is great, but the home is older (though very clean). The patio has a gulf view (through a couple buildings), but there is not a working umbrella on the patio to provide any shade from the sun. And, the shower is built for people who are shorter in stature (my husband and I are both 6’ tall and we felt like were in the scene at the beginning of the movie “Elf” when trying to shower)……
Very nice place, walking distance to the beach, we loved!
We enjoyed our stay, Seagrove is a nice resort area. The house although older was cute and comfy! The outdoor shower is A++++.
We LOVED our stay here!!! Can’t beat the proximity to the ocean! Forever a special place for us!!!
The house was absolutely amazing and so were the views. Literal walking distance across the street. Only thing that was discouraging was we were there for less than 24 hours and there is a cleaning fee of almost $250. I imagine it’s a flat for any stay but should be adjusted accordingly to length of stay.
The place is very cute with a Cozy cabin feel. Very clean inside. Deck And outdoor furniture could use some updating. Be aware the only entrance is the narrow spiral staircase.
This little house is called “Dry Dock.” It is a cute little house across from the beach. EXCEPT, BeachyCations who rent out the house, suck.
First, they do not advertise correctly. The house is across from the beach but you cannot access the beach right across the road. You walk down a bit to access a beach area loaded with “private access” spots where you are not allowed to sit. The police will remove you. Secondly, BeachyCations do not tell you that to access the house, you need the key which is in PCB area. That’s all fine and dandy when it’s not spring break and traffic takes you 40 min to get there.
Also, we asked for early check in. We did not get it. I’m not complaining that we didn’t get it. But I am complaining that we were told they would keep us informed on early check in. They did not. Our vehicle had broken down as soon as we got into town at 9 AM in the morning. Our check in was at 4 PM. We requested early check in since our vehicle had to be taken to the shop. We had 3 children with us. They never reached out to tell us that we couldn’t check in early. On top of that, our key was to be ready by 2 PM with 4 PM being the latest. Since our car had broken down, we had to Uber to get to the key. When we got there, the key was not in the box. When we asked for the key, some lady was 30 min out with the key. Our Uber wouldn’t wait and left us. When she finally arrived with the key, our Uber app wouldn’t work due to connection. We called a cab and was told it was a 2 hour wait due to spring break. So we literally had to walk until we got service to call an Uber. We walked 2 miles. Again, we have 3 children.
Next, we get to the house and are exhausted after waiting all day and being stranded all day, we go to get in the bed and our sheets were COVERED in dog hair. It was ridiculous. They said they could bring new sheets but after waiting on them the entire day, I was done waiting on them and we just slept with our own blankets.
Overall, Dry Dock is super cute. It’s surrounded by condos and vacationers but it wasn’t in a bad location. It’s within walking distance of anything you could want. BUT BeachyCations sucks.
